Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply both the fraction by 10

\frac{1\times 10}{4\times10} =\frac{10}{40} \\\\\frac{3\times10}{4\times10} =\frac{30}{40}

The three rational between \frac{1}{4} \ \ and \ \ \frac{3}{4} are :-

\frac{11}{40},\frac{13}{40},\frac{20}{40}

You can write any three between \frac{10}{40}\ and\ \frac{30}{40}

⭑Note⭑

Rational number are the numbers which can be written was p/q form where numerator p and a non-zero denominator q.

To find rational between any number,first we have to make sure that the denominators are same,if not then we must take the LCM

Both the denominator were same in this question but we can not find three rational number between 1/4 and 3/4,you can see only one rational number which is 2/4,that’s why we have multiplied it by 10.

There are infinite rational number between any two fraction from that we have taken three rational number(as per the question)

Hope it helps :)
