ANSWER

Multiplication,Addition follow associative law but Subtraction and Division not follow associative law

ASSOCIATIVE LAW FOR MULTIPLICATION

if a, b, c are some numbers and d is product of these numbers

then

a×(b×c) = (a×b) ×c = d

note :- multiplication is a binary operation applied only to two values at a time . we cannot multiply 3 or more then 3 values simultaneously.

PRODUCT

 \frac{5}{23}  \times ( \frac{7}{9}  \times  \frac{4}{5} ) =  \frac{5}{23}  \times ( \frac{28}{45} ) =  \frac{140}{1035}

VERIFICATION

 \frac{5}{23}  \times ( \frac{7}{9}  \times  \frac{4}{5} ) =  \frac{5}{23}  \times ( \frac{28}{45} ) =  \frac{140}{1035}  \:  \:  \\  = ( \frac{5}{23}  \times  \frac{7}{9} ) \times  \frac{4}{5}     = ( \frac{35}{207} ) \times  \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{140}{1035}

since

a(b×c) = (a×b) ×c

hence multiplication follow associative law

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplication,Addition follow associative law but Subtraction and Division not follow associative law

ASSOCIATIVE LAW FOR MULTIPLICATION

PRODUCTS

5/23×(7/9× 4/5)=5/23×(28/45)

=140/1035

VERIFICATION

5/23×(7/9×4/5)=5/23×(28/45)

=140/1035

since

a(b×c) = (a×b) ×c

hence multiplication follow associative law
