The numbers are

 \frac{1}{4} \:  and \:  \frac{1}{2}

The denominator has to be the same;

 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{2}{4}

Now, we need to find rational numbers between the following numbers:-

 \frac{1}{4} and \:  \frac{2}{4}

We need 3 rational numbers ,

So, multiply and divide by 4

 \frac{1}{4}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{4}{16}

 \frac{2}{4}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{8}{16}

The required rational numbers are:-

 \frac{5}{16}  \\  \frac{6}{16}  \\ and \\  \frac{7}{16}

I hope this was helpful!

Answer:

rational number between 1/4 1/2 :-

first we will take denominators same by taking LCM so LCM of 2,4 is 4

we will multiply1/4 like this :-

1×1=1×4=4

4×1=4×4=16

now multiply 1/2

1×2=2×4=8

2×2=4×4=16

now we have get three rational number between 1/2&1/4 :-5/16 ,6/16,7/16,
