9. we can see any object just because of reflection of light from any source of light and same is for your question's first part.

here in the attached image you may see the source of light is sun and only red light get reflected back by the apple to our eyes because it absorbs every colour from the white except the red.

10. Reflection is when light bounces off an object. If the surface is smooth and shiny, like glass, water or polished metal, the light will reflect at the same angle as it hit the surface. This is called  reflection.
