Given polynomial is x¹⁰ + x⁴ - 1 .

Here the highest power of the variable is 10 .

So , the degree of polynomial is 10 .

Now we know that the maximum number of zeroes of a polynomial is equal to the degree of the polynomial .

So , the total number of possible zeroes is 10.

If a graph of a equⁿ us given and we are asked to find number of zeroes , we will simply see that how many times it cuts the x - axis .
