Step-by-step explanation:

a-b = 4________(i)

a+b =6________(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii)

a-b+a+b=10

2a=10

 \tt \: a =  \frac{10}{2}  = 5

and b= 1

After find the value of a=5 and b=1 ,

 \tt(1) \:  \:  \:  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  \\  \\  \tt =  {5}^{2}  +  {1}^{2}  \\  \\  \tt = 25 + 1 = 26

AND

(2). ab

5×1=5
