Solution,

We know that in the troposphere, the temperature drop per kilometre altitude increase is approximately 6.5°C.

Now for,

1000 m the temperature will decrease for = 6.5°C

1 m the temperature will decrease for = 6.5/1000 °C

165m the temperature will decrease for = 6.5×165/1000 = 1.07°C

The temperature at the hill top = (25-1.07) = 23.93°C = 24°C (approx)

Hence, the temperature at the hill top will be approximately 24°C
