(a)3^4x= 1/729

3^4x=729^-1

3^4x=3^6

4x=6. {a^m=a^n, m=n}

x= 3/2

(b) 5^2x+1/125= 625

5^2x+1/5^3= 5^4

5^2x+1=5^4*5^3. ( cross multiplication)

5^2x+1= 5^4+3

2x+1= 7

2x=6

x=3
