first question arises that what do you mean by people as resource . People as resource refers to a country's working people in terms of their production skills. Human beings can perform many activities which are grouped into economic activities and non economic activities.

Then questions arise what is economic and non economic activities.

ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES: The activities which involves in production and selling of goods are called economic activities.

Economic activities are of two types:-

1.market activity

2. non market activity.

NON ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES: The activities which are not involves in production and selling of goods are called non economic activities.

In this chapter basically we studied about human capital.
