Let the two equal vectors be A.

R=√A^2+A^2

(this is the formula used for calculating the resultant of two vectors when they are perpendicular to each other.

while the formula is R=√A^2+B^2

but as both the vectors are equal we have taken only A in replacement of B)

now, continuing the solution:

R=282.8N

282.8=√2A^2

Squaring on both sides

(282.8)^2 = (√2A^2)^2

79636.84 = 2A^2

A^2 = 79636.84÷2

A^2 = 39818.42

Now, taking square root on both sides

√A^2 = √ 39818.42

A= 199.54

thus the magnitude of each force will be 199.54N
