Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ A gets Profit = Rs.500

→ B gets Profit = Rs.300

→ Total Profit = Rs.1000

→ So, C gets Profit = 1000 - (500 + 300) = 1000 - 800 = Rs.200

Now, we know That, Profit is distributed among partners in the ratio of their capital .

→ Profit Ratio = A : B : C = 500 : 300 : 200 = 5 : 3 : 2 = Capital Ratio .

Now, we have given that, A's contribution is Rs 10000.

So,

5 unit ------------- Rs.10000

→ 1 unit --------------- (10000/5)

→ 2 unit -------------- (10000/5) * 2 = Rs.4000 (a) (Ans.)

Hence, C's contribution in the capital is Rs.4000.

Answer:

a)Rs 4000

Step-by-step explanation:

Profit amount earned by A = 500

Percentage of profit that A got according to his share holding=500/1000×100

                                                                                                       =50%

Profit amount earned by B = 300

Percentage of profit that A got according to his share holding=300/1000×100

                                                                                                       =30%

percentage of share holding of C=[100-(50+30)]%

                                                       ={100-80}%

                                                       =20%

If A invested 10000 by holding 50%. Then, the total investment amount will be 20000.

Now as we know C has paid 20% of investment

∴Amount invested by C= 20% of 20000

                                       =20/100×20000

                                       =4000
