Step-by-step explanation:

By elimination method:-

multiply first equation by 8 and second equation by 9

8(9x+6y)=8×14

72x+48y=112---------(1)

9(8x-6y)=8×9

72x-54y=72-----------(2)

subtracting equation 1 from equation 2,we

get:-

72x-54y=72

- 72x+48y=112

(-) (-) (-)

______________

-102y= -40

y=40/102 =20/51

putting putting the value of y in first equation ,we get

9x+6(20/51)=14

9x+120/51=14

459x+120

--------------- =14

51

459x+120=14×51

459x=714-120

x=594/459

x=198/153

Thank you
