Question :-

Find product of roots of the equation

9x² + 6x + 7 .

Answer :-

 \star \:  \sf{sum \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{ - 2}{3}  }\\  \\  \star \: \sf{ product \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{7}{9} }

Explanation :-

Given equation is

→ 9x² + 6x + 7 ....eq.(1)

Here ,

• coefficient of x² is 9

• coefficient of x is 6

• constant term is 7

→ ax² + bx + c ....eq.(2)

comparing eq.(1) and (2)

→ a = 9 ,b = 6 and c = 7

We know that ,

 \star \:  \sf{sum \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{ -b }{a} } \\  \\  \rightarrow  \boxed{\sf{ sum \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{ - 6}{9}  =  -  \frac{2}{3} }} \\  \\  \star \: \sf{ product \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{c}{a} } \\  \\  \rightarrow  \:  \boxed{ \sf{ prouct \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{7}{9} }}
