A 0.5kg ball moving with a speed of 12m per s strikes a hard wall at an angle of 30 with a wall.it is reflected with the same speed at the same angle.if the ball is in contact with the wall for 0.25s ,the average force acting on the wall is?

F (average) = m (vf - vi)/t

Vf =0 m/s

Vi =12 m/s

Therefore by the formula,

F avg. = m (vf - vi)/t

        = 0.5 (0-12)/0.25

        = -24 N
