A 1.5 V battery is connected to a 30 and 20 resistors in series. What is the work done to drive a 1C charge through the 30 resistor?​

potential is a scalar quantity

so we can say that potential drops at resistor

value of potential drop is proportional to resistance

so potential at 30ohm is 0.9V

and potential at 20ohm is 0.6V

now work done is charge × potential

W=qV

so by here we can say that final result is 0.9Joules
