potential is a scalar quantity
so we can say that potential drops at resistor
value of potential drop is proportional to resistance
so potential at 30ohm is 0.9V
and potential at 20ohm is 0.6V
now work done is charge × potential
W=qV
so by here we can say that final result is 0.9Joules
