Given conditions ⇒
Potential(V) = 1.5 V.
Resistance(R) = 1000 Ω
Using the Ohm's law,
V = I × R
∴ I = V/R
⇒ I = 1.5/1000
⇒ I = 1.5 × 10⁻³ A.
Hence, the Current is 1.5 × 10⁻³ A.
Now, Using the Formula,
P = V × I
∴ P = 1.5 × 1.5 × 10⁻³
⇒ P = 2.25 × 10⁻³
Hence, the Power supplied to it is 2.25 × 10⁻³ W.
Hope it helps.
