A 1.6m tall boy spot a balloon moving with the wind in a horizontal line at a height of 98.6m from the ground. the smaller angle of elevation of the balloon from the eye of the boy at any instant is 60°. after some time, the angle of elevation reduce to 45°. find the distance traveled by the balloon during the interval.

Height of balloon=98.6-1.6=97m
tan =Height /Distance
√3=97/x
x=97/√3

tan=Height /distance
1=97/x
x=97

Distance travelled =97-97/√3
=97(1-1/√3)
