Given :-

Number of students in a class =25

Percentage of students who are interested in maths =72%

Number of students who are interested in maths :-

 =  \frac{72}{100}  \times 25

 =  \frac{72 \times 25}{100}

 =  \frac{1800}{100}

 =\bold{ 18}

Thus, number of students who are interested in maths=18

Which means :-

The number of students who are not interested in maths :-

 = 25 - 18

 = \bold{7}

Thus, the number of students who are interested in maths=7

As the total number of students who are interested and not interested in maths is adding up to 25, we can conclude that we have found out the correct number of students who are interested and not interested in maths.

Therefore, the number of students who are not interested in maths =7
