a ÷ (- 1) = - a

Taking different values of positive numbers.

2 ÷ (- 1) = - 2

3 ÷ (- 1) = - 3

4 ÷ (- 1) = - 4

5 ÷ (- 1) = -5.

6 ÷ (- 1) = -6

when we divide any positive number with -1 , we well get the same number as answer but with negative sign.

Taking different values of negative numbers.

a ÷ (- 1) = - a.

(- 2) ÷ (- 1) = 2

(- 3) ÷ (- 1) = 3

(- 4) ÷ (- 1) = 4

(- 5) ÷ (- 1) = 5

(- 6) ÷ (- 1) = 6

when we divide any negative number with -1, we will get the same number as answer but with positive sign.
