Dear Friends,
Corruption is the demand for a bribe by a person having power in order
to do his duty properly. Corrupt persons trouble honest people refusing to pay bribes. Corrupt people misuse public funds for selfish benefit.
Not only India, world over, people are suffering from disloyalty of some employees, politicians and officials. There are many reasons for a person to be corrupt like
1. High Taxes, or disliking to pay taxes
2. Unavailability of sufficient opportunities
3. Over-Selfishness
4. Lack of moral, ethical values, dishonesty, cruelty, inconsideration
5. Influence (pressure) from higher authorities
6. Escalating Costs
7. Delays in Approvals (red-tapism), slow government procedures
8. Limitations on Anti-Corruption officials & Police
9. Already Deeply rooted corruption in our system
10. Black money inside and in foreign banks
11. Lack of good education
In the world of today honesty and good work can bring success. There are opportunities for everyone. Future citizens of tomorrow need to be educated properly. By the next generation or two, we can eliminate the corruption.
You are all experts in Biology, right ? Corruption is just like a virus. Do we want that to eat away our system? By Heavens, No.
Do you know how Singapore had come out of misery and poverty to become an advanced and a sought-after-destination ? Just by eradicating corruption. Do we also want to flourish? Let's eradicate corruption.
I am in for it. I wish you all be in too.
Thank you all for listening to me nicely.
