Answer:

Explanation:

length of the object(O) = 10 cm

Focal length of the lens(f)= 10 cm

object distance(u) = - 15 cm

to find: length of the image(I)

image distance(v)=?

1/f = 1/v  - 1/u

1/10 = 1/v - 1/-15

1/v = 1/10 + 1/-15

1/v =  0.1 + 1/-15

1/v = ( -1.5 + 1 )/ -15

1/v = -0.5 /-15

v=15/0.5

v= 30 cm

from the relation

I/O=v/u

I/10=30/15

I/10=2

I=20 cm
