Students must realize the importance of the relationship between an individual and the society. Man is belongs to a society, and students are an important part of it. Students cannot live in complete isolation from the community-life. Even a school-going student is bound to have links with other people who together form a society.

Students can play an important role in improving and strengthening the society. The simple fact is that united we stand, and divided we fall. The society is the manifestation of that united existence, and the students are part of the society. Therefore, men and women of all ages and professions should do their best to serve the society.

Studying is the main occupation of students. But, being youthful and energetic, they can engage themselves in various forms of social work in their spare time, and in moments of crisis.

1.      Students should take an active role in literacy campaigns.

2.      They can teach the illiterate to read and write.

3.      They should be enthusiastic about opening blood donation camps, founding gymnasiums, blind schools, health centers, libraries, etc. Such enterprises benefit a large number of people, and help in maintaining the society in a good condition.

4.      Funds can be raised through subscriptions, lottery, and through government help. Students, urged by the spirit of social welfare, can also arrange for charity shows to raise the necessary funds.

5.      It is the students who should undertake the responsibility of fighting anti-social activities of a few corrupt people.

6.      They must solemnly vow to eradicate drugs and drinks from their localities.

7.      Whenever there is a general crisis like the outbreak of malaria, or floods or earthquakes, students are expected to come to the aid of the distressed.

The students of today lays the foundation stone of future society. The society should give students the love and encouragement due to them, and see that their studies are not unduly hampered. brainliest me plz

❤️❤️As we continue to push towards unprecedented levels of planetary urbanization, cities are increasingly identified as the primary strategic ground for resolving some of the most pressing environmental, political, and social challenges of the 21st century. Urban questions currently attract growing attention from a wide ranging set of academic disciplines including computer science, economics, and engineering - opening new and exciting avenues for interdisciplinary research and collaboration. However, at the same time, the field of urban geography is experiencing significant turmoil, with many of its longstanding frameworks being called into question by some of the field’s leading scholars. In light of this broadening interest in urban issues both in society and at the university, we suggest an urgent need to reexamine some of the basic categories and concepts used to define and decipher urban processes, and to more broadly pose the question of what characterizes the urban today and what approaches that can help us to successfully generate new urban theory and knowledge.
❤️❤️To address this need, we are initiating a monthly research seminar centered on the broad question of how we as urban geographers and sociologists can best contribute to these debates around the contemporary relationship between cities and social change. By inviting international expertise working at the frontiers of urban research, this seminar series seeks to support the development of a dynamic and robust research environment around urban issues within the Department of Sociology and Human Geography, while simultaneously creating a space for linking up an existing urban departmental momentum to broader research networks and debates in Norway and beyond.
❤️❤️The seminar series consists of one- or two-day events that combine lectures, smaller research seminars, and (when possible) practice-based urban excursions. The series will be organized around semester-long themes to explored by representatives of different subdisciplines including mobilities studies, critical urban studies, cultural geography, transport geography etc.
