A 1000 watt electrical appliance is used every day per 90 minutes. Calculate units of electrical energy this appliance will consume in 30 days.

Power= 1000W

Time= 90 min = 90 × 60 sec= 5400 sec

In 30 days =. 5400 × 30= 162000 sec

Energy = power × time

= 1000 × 162000sec

= 162000000 joules

= 162000 kilojoules.
