A 100m long train crosses a 300m long bride at a speed of 90km/h . how much time it will take to cross the bridge completely

90 ×5/18 = 300 +100/t
25 = 400/t
t = 400/25
t = 4 ×100/25
t = 4×4
t=16sec

Distance covered in crossing the bridge completely is,

s= Length of the train + Length of the bridge

100m + 300m= 400m

v= 90km/h = 90×1000/3600 m/s= 25 m/s

Therefore, the time required for the train to cross the bridge is, t =s/v = 400/25 = 16s
