Ozymandias was arrogant, conceited, and egoist. He behaved condescendingly with others. He wanted everyone to bow, fawn, and obey his orders. He made everyone believe if they did not act according to his will or command, he could have them punished. In his bid to immortalize himself, he got many of his statues made in Egypt. However, his glory lasted only a few years. He became old, weak, and finally died. Even the statues he got built, were destroyed by almighty time.

He was ambitious, haughty, proud wanted to be remembered by all.. Therefore he erected his statues. He wanted to make all kings feel that he was only arrogant king who could influence over others.
