# Solution -

Peak potential difference is given by -

Vo = √2 Vrms

Vo = √2 × 220

Vo = 311 V

Average potential difference is given by -

Vavg = 2 Vo / π

Vavg = 2 × 311 / π

Vavg = 198 V
