The projectile mass M = 0.1kg

Only the horizontal, ie X- component of the muzzle velocity vector matters. This is:

V = 1800cos60 = 900 m/s

The momentum in the X-direction is:

P = MV = 0.1 x 900 = 90 kgm/s

Assuming the powder charge is sufficiently small compared to the projectile that we can neglect it, or it is included in the mass of the projectile(if they have approx the same exit velocity) or it is some kind of rail gun:):

Recoil momentum of the gun = 12 x Vgun = 90

So the recoil velocity of the gun is 90/12 = 7.5 m/s.
