 \huge\bf { \red A \green N \pink S\blue W \orange E \purple R  \green{=60}}

Let x be the total number of population

Then according to the problem,

p(car)=20% of x=x/5

p(bus)=50% of x=x/2

p(car ∩ bus)=10% of x=x/10

Since,

p(car ∪ bus)=p(car)+p(bus)-p(car ∩ bus)

p(car ∪ bus)=x/5 + x/2 - x/10=3x/5 persons ans.

if x(population)=100

Then persons travelling by car or bus will be 60 percent
