So, here we are using Pythagoras theorem

Hypotenuse^{2}= Height^{2}+Base^{2}

Here, Hypotenuse =ladder height

Height = Wall to window height

We have to find the Base

So,

15^{2}=base^{2}+12^{2}

Base = \sqrt{225-144}

= \sqrt{81}

=9

Therefore, the distance of the foot of the ladder from the wall is 9m.
