A 15m high tower casts a shadow of 24 m long at a certain time and at the same time,a telephone pole casts a shadow 16m long.Find the height of telephone pole.

tower height=15m
tower shadow=24m
if shadow is 24m then height is 15m
if shadow is 1 m then height is 15/24
if shadow is 16 m then height is 15/24*16
=10 m
tower shadow=24m
if shadow is 24m then height is 15m
if shadow is 1 m then height is 15/24
if shadow is 16 m then height is 15/24*16
=10 m

it is not given that both tan have same value
or both made shadoe at same angle

as sun is in same direction i.e sun has same angle of elevation so its light too has same angle of elevation
but at different height
one is 15m high while other is 10m
yes as sun is very far so light rays coming from it just parallel to each other but at some angle theta with horizontal
