Apply conservation of momentum take +x direction as +ve then initial momentum= final momentum.
16(30)+4(-50)=20(v)so v=280/20=14 cm/s .

Answer:

from the formula

m1u1+m2u2=(m1+m2) v

we get

v = 14m/s

or

v= 0.14cm/s.
