volume of well = volume of platform
πr×rh = lbh
22/7×35/20×35/20×16 = 275/10×7×x
x = 8/10

Answer:

0.799 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of well = 3.5 m

Radius of well = Diameter /2 = 3.5 /2 = 1.75 m

Height of Well = 16 m

Volume of Well = \pi r^2 h

                          = 3.14 \times (1.75)^2 \times 16

                           = 153.86

Let the height of Platform be h

Length of Platform = 27.5 m

width of Platform = 7 m

Volume of Platform = 27.5 \times 7 \times height

                                = 192.5h

Since we are given that well is dug up And earth is spread to forent platform .

So, Volume will remain same .

So, 192.5h= 153.86

h= \frac{153.86}{192.5}

h=0.799

Thus the height of the platform is 0.799 m
