then,
AC(hypotenuse)=17m
AB (perpendicular)=15m
then,
BC(Base)=???
by using pytogoras theorem,
h²=p²+b²
b²=h²-p²
b²=17²-15²
b²=289-225
b²=64
b²=√64
b=8
then, Distance between the foot of ladder and the wall.. 8 metre....
