time taken by train to cross the platform = (180+240) /96kmph = 420 / (80/3) mps. = 15.75 sec.

ie x = 15.75 sec.

time taken to pass the tunnel = 15.75 + 11.25 = 27 sec.

thennlength of tunnel = 27 * 80/3 = 720 metres.
