Microorganism or microbe is an organism which is so small that it cannot be seen with naked eyes .Microorganisms were discovered after discovery of microscope .Bacteria ,algae ,fungi are examples of microorganisms. All microorganisms are not harmful. Very few of them are harmful while most of them are beneficial. Examples of friendly microorganisms are -Some soil bacteria can fix atmospheric nitrogen, which are useful for plants ,friendly microorganisms are also used in preparation of cheese ,vinegar, curd etc...
Examples of harmful microorganisms are -Vibreo cholerae causes cholera , pox is caused by virus ,etc .The surrounding of microorganisms requires nutrious medium to grow .Acidity ,alkalinity o2 and temperature are also very important factors
.So in order to leave free from diseases we should keep our surroundings clean.
