A 2.0 cm high object is placed perpendicular to the principal axis of a concave mirror. The distance of the object from the mirror is 30cm, and it's image is formed 60 cm from the mirror, on the same side of the mirror as the object. Find the height of the image formed.

height of image /height of object=distance of image/distance of object

hi/ho=-v/u

hi/2=60/30

on cross multiplying we have

30hi=60*2

hi=-120/30

hi=-4cm

height of image =-4cm

natur image is real ,react image is below the principle axis
