\huge{heya\:mate}

\large{a=2+root3}

first find Value of 1/a

\large{1/2+root3}

\bold{rationalise:denominator}

\large{1/2+root3*2-root3}

\large{1/2+root3*2-root3}

\large{2-root3/1}

\large{2-root3}

: 1/a= \huge{2-root3}

NOW SIMPLY :

a+1/a

= \large{2+root3+2-root3}

=\huge{4}

\huge{a+1/a=4}

MrRegister: I said a+1/a in the comments and he was angry
ryan567: thanks buddy
