Answer:

the original number is 63(hopefully I am right)

Step-by-step explanation:

The the digit in the units place be y and tens place be x

∴Original number = 10x + y

The number obtained when the digits are reversed = 10y + x

According To Question,

10x + y = 7(x + y)

⇒ 10x + y = 7x + 7y

⇒3x - 6y = 0

⇒x = 2y -----(1)

Also,

10x + y - 27 = 10y + x

⇒ 9x - 9y = 27

⇒ x - y = 3 ----(2)

Using x = 2y in (2),

⇒2y - y = 3

⇒ y = 3

Using y = 3 in (1),

x = 2(3)

⇒ x = 6

∴ Original number = 10x + y = 10(6) + 3 = 60 + 3 = 63

∴ The original number is 63
