Perpendicular(1)=12m
Hypotenuse(1)=20m
Base(1)=?
20^2 - 12^2 = B^2
B= rt256=16m
Perpendicular(2)=16m
Hypotenuse(2)=20m
Base(2)=?
20^2 - 16^2 = B^2
B=rt144=12m
Therefore width of street=16+12=28m
Hypotenuse(1)=20m
Base(1)=?
20^2 - 12^2 = B^2
B= rt256=16m
Perpendicular(2)=16m
Hypotenuse(2)=20m
Base(2)=?
20^2 - 16^2 = B^2
B=rt144=12m
Therefore width of street=16+12=28m
