Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Let the common ratio be x.

Then length=3 x

Breadth= x

Given that the wire required = 20 m .

This wire is fenced around the field. So it also gives the perimeter of the field.

So, Perimeter of the field = 20 m

2(l+ b)=20

2(3x+x)=20

2×4x=20

8x=20

x=20/8

x=2.5

So, length=3×2.5

=7.5 m

Breadth=2.5 m

Area of field=l×b

=7.5×2.5

=18.75 m^2

==================================

⊙ Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> so, let their dimension be x

so,
2(3x + x) = 20metre

2 \times 4x = 20metre

8x = 20

x =  \frac{20}{8}  =  \frac{5}{2} m

so, the length is 3x

3 \times  \frac{5}{2}  = 7.5m

so, breadth is x

 \frac{5}{2}  = 2.5m

so,the area of a rectangle is
l \times b \\  \\ 7.5 \times 2.5 = 18.75m {}^{2}

hope \: it \: helps \: you
