A 200kg motorcycle is moving over a horizontal road with uniform velocity. If this motorcycle has to be stopped with a negative aceleration of 1.5m/s^2, hence what is the force of friction between the type of the motorcycle and the road​

In the question we are given that the mass of the motorcycle is =2000kg and

acceleration = — 1.5 ms–2 so from newton's second law by using

F = ma

F = –2000 kg ×1.5ms -2

F = – 3000kg ms–2

F = –3000N

hence the force of friction between the tyres of the motorcycle and the road is 3000 N
