A 20g of bullet is fired with a velocity of 150m/s from a gun of mass 3kg. Find the recoil velocity of gun?​

Answer:

Newton's third law says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Using this, we can say that momentum of the bullet will be equal to the momentum of the gun. So,the recoil velocity will be 1.5m/s.
