A 250 watt electric bulb is lighted for 5 hours daily and four 6 watt bulbs are lighted for 4.5 hours daily. Calculate the energy consumed (in kWh) in the month of February​

Given, power of electric bulb is 250W = 0.25Kw

The time bulb is used =5 hrs.

Energy consumed by electric bulb is 0.25 × 5 =1.25 Kwh.

The power of another bulb 6.W = 6Kw

Time bulb is used 4.5 hrs.

Energy cosumed:- 0.027 × 4 =0.108 Kwh

Total energy in month of February is 1.25× 0.108 = 1.358 KWh.
