Answer:

a - ( 2a - 5 ) / 3 = 3 + ( a - 4 )

a - ( 2a - 5 ) = 3.3 + ( a - 4 )

a - 2a + 5 = 3 . 3 ( 3a - 12 )

a - 2a + 5 = 9 + 3a - 12

a - 2a + 5 = 3a - 3

-1a + 5 = 3a - 3

5 + 3 = 3a + 1a

8 = 4a

a = 8/4

a = 2

Checking :-

LHS :- a-(2a-5) / 3 = 0

a - 2a - 5 = 0 × 3

a - 2a - 5 = 0

a - 2a = 0 + 5

a - 2a = 5

a . a = 5 + 2

a = 7

RHS :- 3 + ( a - 4 ) = 0

a - 4 = 0 + 3

a - 4 = 3

a = 3 + 4

a = 7

LHS = RHS

Hence proved .
