a=3+2√2 then find the value of a²+1/a²

asquare= (3+2✓2)(3+2√2)= 9+6√2+6✓2+4x2= 9+12√2+8= 17+12√2.............,........................

17+12√2+1/17+12√2=. 289+288+24x17√2/17+12√2

a² = 9 + 8 + 12√2

1/a² = 1/(17+ 12√2)

Adding both,

17+12√2 + 1/(17+12√2)

= (17+12√2)² + 1/(1)

= 577+ 408√2
