Length of the Ladder = 3 m

and Distance between wall and lower end of Ladder = 1.5 m

So, angle made between ladder and Ground will be Cos

So, Cos Theta = base / Hypoteneus

So, Cos Theta = 1.5 / 3

Therefore Cos Theta = 1 / 2

and Cos 60 = 1 / 2

therefore, answer is Cos 60.

From the figure ,

Length of the ladder ( AB) = 3 m

Distance from the foot of ladder

to the wall = AO = 1.5 m

In ∆AOB , <AOB = 90°

Cos x = adjacent side of x /hypotenuse

= OA/AB

= 1.5m/3m

= 1/2

Therefore ,

cos x = cos 60°

x = 60°

Option ( c ) is correct.
