HEY DEAR.......!!!

GIVEN,
length of park = 125cm.
width of park = 65cm.
width of the park around the park = 3cm.

= Length of the park with path = 125m + 3m + 3m = 131m
=Width of the park with park = 65m + 3m + 3m = 71m

AREA OF RECTANGLE = LENGTH X WIDTH
Area of park = 125cm x 65cm= 8125cm^2.

= Area of the park with path = Length × Width
= 131m × 71m = 9301m2

= Now, Area of the path = Area of the park with path — Area of the park
= 9301m2 — 8125m2 = 1176 m2

HOPE IT'S HELP U ☺

area of park=125*65=8125m²
length of path with park=125+3+3==131m
breadth of path with park65+3+3=71m
area of path with park=128*68=9301m²
area of path=9301-8125=1176m²
hope it helps

siddhartharao77: I think the answer will be 1176cm^2
Ananyaaaaaaa: it is 1176
