Length of park = 125 m

Width of park = 65 m

Area of park = 125 * 65

= 8125 m^2

Length of Outer rectangle = 125+6

= 131 m

Width of outer rectangle = 65 + 6

= 71

Area of outer rectangle = 71 * 131

= 9301 m^2

Area of path = 9301 - 8125

= 1176 m^2

hii!!

here's ur answer...
given the Length of the rectangular park is 125m and breadth is 65m.

area of the rectangular park = l×b

= 125×65

= 8125m²

if the 3m wide path runs outside the park, then the length of the path will be = 125+3+3

= 125+6

= 131m

breadth of the path will be = 65+3+3

= 65+6

= 71m

therefore area of the park along with the path = l×b

= 131×71

= 9301m²

hence area of the path = 9301-8125

= 1176m²

hope this helps..!
