A 350 cm long and 300 cm broad floor is to be tiled with square tiles of side 10 cm . Find the number of tiles. Also find the cost if each tile is worth ₹ 35.

Length of the floor = 350

Breadth of the floor = 300

area of the floor = L × B

= 350×300

= 1,05,000

side of tile = 10cm × 4

= 40cm

Now, Find the number of tiles

1,05,000/40

2,625

Worth of 1 tile = ₹ 35

Worth of 2625 tiles = ₹ 91,875
