A 36-m-long, 15-m-borad verandah is to be paved with stones, each measuring 6 dm by 5 d m. How many stones will be required?

                         =l*b

No. of stones required to pave the verandah = area of verandah ÷ area of 1                                stone

                                                                           = 540/0.3
